Matthew 11:30
The news splashed into our hearts! A good friend was fighting for her life and the enemy-COVID-19. Yes she was in the Intensive Care Unit, on a ventilator and receiving, intravenous medications—all of it!
Yet as many prayed it became apparent that she was not warring against an untried enemy. God had already fought the battle on her behalf and in His name she could be more than a conqueror.
As the days unfolded into weeks she began to gain strength and today is healing slowly, yet not out of the woods. What about you? Will you live, really live? What are your battles now that COVID-19 appears to be heaving again as a monstrous wave on an already troubled sea. Is it Finances, loneliness, fear, grieving the death of a loved one or friend or job insecurity, and this is not an exhaustive list.
One of my favorite authors stated that every cross that we are called to bear, He has already borne. Hence He understands every pain and difficulty and stands ready to carry the burden and you! Will you let him do that for you today? I pray so. Write and let us know how He is carrying you.
As was mentioned in the last news note we are exploring ways to offer a virtual concert before the end of the year. Your prayers are appreciated and in the meantime there is hope in the reality that where sin abounds, grace does much more abound! Rom. 5:20
