Phil. 3:14
“Where are my keys?” “Have you seen my phone?” Your face is familiar (before the mask) but I don’t recall your name!”
It has been said that memory is the capacity for storing and retrieving information without which we could neither see, hear or think. An anonymous little girl spoke for many when she said, “memory is what I forget with”!
Even though all we need to remember is stored in our phones, the associated thoughts and feelings are stored in our hearts! The year, 2019, is behind us, gone. Yes there are many memories and experiences, but are we not to press toward the mark? (Phil. 3:14)
In more than 20 Bible verses we are told to remember…to visit the poor, His marvelous works, the Word, them that are in bonds, His holy promise, just to list a few. Even though remembering lives in the richness of our heritage, it can be active in the trappings of our future.
Deutonomy 32:7 tells us to remember the days of old, and the song, let us not forget, Gethsemane!
Grace Abounds Ministries needs your ongoing prayers as preparation is made for a virtual outreach. In the near future opportunities will be available to donate at this site.
Be blessed and until next time remember that…” where sin abounds, grace does much more abound!” Rom. 5:20
