No, not again! It was happening! Slowly a dark curtain was closing over my already vulnerable heart and that sinking feeling was beginning to envelop my mind, again! Lost battles filled my memory! I was beginning to lose control. Help! This person has no name, but perhaps many names. The issue is not physical but mental, perhaps depression. There are signs that we are moving past the greatest impact of the pandemic, however, the mental health of our country was already in jeopardy prior to this overwhelming storm. And as stated in the last Inspirational note, there are no ventilators in a mental health center. Some studies show that 1 in 5 people will experience one of the mental illnesses during their lifetime. All face challenges in life that can impact their mental health. The following are a few spiritual tips that can nurture ones mental and spiritual health focusing on working though events that may have happened in the last year.
