Biography

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee saying, this is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand and when ye turn to the left.” Isaiah. 30:21

That word was directing my life years ago as my precious mother, Grace, recognized a gift God had given me. That gift—singing. From that time music filled my life beginning as a child, a preteen, through high school, college, and into adulthood.

Even though I took piano lessons, singing continued to be the focus. Later God gave me opportunities to study voice formally during my nursing career and sing with small and large groups before thousands. When I returned to school for graduate studies, music found me and I joined a small group that traveled on weekends.

New locations and positions were not barriers to this friend. One such job setting provided many singing occasions and there I was encouraged to begin a formal ministry.

Many years later and after numerous mountains and valleys, Grace Abounds Ministries, in honor of my mother, Grace, became a reality! I continue to hear that voice behind me saying..this is the way walk ye in it-.sing and serve!
